What exactly is NAD+, and where does the 500mg tier fit?

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, oxidised form) is the central cofactor in cellular redox reactions and the substrate that sirtuin and PARP enzymes consume during signalling and DNA-repair activity. It is not a peptide — it is a nucleotide-family coenzyme, catalogued here for the longevity, sirtuin, and mitochondrial-metabolism research programs it supports. The NJ500 500mg per vial tier is the high-mass presentation for longevity, sirtuin, and mitochondrial pre-clinical work that would otherwise require multiple small-vial reconstitutions.

What does this specific lot’s CoA cover?

Every lot is independently assayed by reverse-phase HPLC for purity and by mass-spec for identity against theoretical mass. Lot-specific certificates of analysis are being catalogued and will be publicly listed on the product page as they come online.

How do I reconstitute a 500mg NAD+ vial?

  1. Wipe the vial stopper with an alcohol swab.
  2. Draw 5 to 10 mL of bacteriostatic water (the 500mg mass requires higher diluent volume to dissolve cleanly; multi-mL injections may need to be split across two draws).
  3. Inject the diluent slowly against the vial wall — do not aim at the peptide cake.
  4. Swirl gently to dissolve. Do not shake. NAD+ dissolves readily but the large cake may need a minute or two of gentle rotation.
  5. Store the reconstituted vial at 2 to 8 °C. Use within 30 days.

Why the 500mg tier — is there a smaller size?

500mg per vial is currently the only NAD+ presentation stocked; smaller vial sizes are not carried today. The 500mg tier suits protocols that need meaningful working-solution volume for multi-week studies without recurring reconstitution overhead; downstream dilutions handle any working-concentration adjustment.

How is NAD+ different from adjacent longevity-axis research tools?

NAD+ is a coenzyme substrate — the molecule that sirtuins and PARPs directly consume — so it sits at the biochemistry layer of the longevity axis. Epithalon (ET10 / ET50) is a synthetic tetrapeptide studied as a telomerase modulator, mechanistically upstream of the aging phenotype rather than at the cofactor layer. MOTS-C (MS10 / MS20) is a 16-amino-acid mitochondrial-derived peptide signalling through AMPK. All three appear in longevity-axis pre-clinical programs, but they act at different mechanistic layers and are typically studied in parallel, not as substitutes.

What ships in the box, and how fast?

  • 10 lyophilized NAD+ 500mg vials
  • 1 lot-specific certificate of analysis (HPLC + MS)
  • 1 handling and reconstitution insert

Orders placed before 14:00 PT ship the same business day from our British Columbia facility. Canadian orders arrive in 2 to 4 business days after dispatch.

New to this peptide?

Most researchers start at ~100000mcg/day, single site injection, and adjust based on their protocol. Consult published literature for your specific research goal.

How long will this last?

Assumes one dose per day. Peptides commonly dosed weekly (e.g. semaglutide, tirzepatide) will last roughly 7× longer than shown.

Mechanism of action

Two toddlers and I feel like I'm 60. Was expensive elsewhere so I went looking. Buddy at my gym told me about this. Package to Oakville was here in 3 days. Two weeks in and I have more energy for the kids on the weekend.

Longer than expected but I get it, we're in Halifax. Vials are here, they look real. Refreshed the tracking a lot in the meantime. Also wasn't sure what to do with such a big vial at first, took some Googling.

Repeat customer. Was hesitant the first time but way better value than what my buddy at the gym was doing. Two boys under 5, wife happy I'm less of a zombie.

Fast shipping. Vials look good. A few weeks in, less tired in the evenings. Kids get more of me at night which is what I actually wanted.

One vial had a small scratch on the glass but no crack, powder inside looks fine. Prices seem up a bit since my friend bought last year but still worth it.

What am I supposed to do with 500mg in one vial? Site didn't really explain and I ended up emailing to ask, took a couple days to hear back. Answer was helpful but felt like info that should just be on the page. Frustrating for a first order.

Ok took forever to figure out how to check out but I got there. Not crashing in the afternoon like I was. Only real complaint is the checkout page kept giving me an error until I tried a different browser.

Never got a reply from support. Order took 14 days. Ended up canceling my card just in case. Package showed up eventually. I'm not saying it's a scam but I'm not doing this again.

55, friend from my walking group told me. Took the GO train back from work and it was at the door. Less tired at work these days. Grateful.

Felt tired at 68, might as well try. Cottage season is short and I want the energy for the grandkids. Got here fast. Cost more than a friend paid last year but I'm not shopping around anymore at my age. Have more energy at the lake.
